Famous quotes containing the words early, life and/or career:

I would observe to you that what is called style in writing or speaking is formed very early in life while the imagination is warm, and impressions are permanent.
    Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826)

In the production of the necessaries of life Nature is ready enough to assist man.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

The institutional imprint furnishes him with pension, meaning, proofs of existence. A man without a company name is a man without a country.
    Lewis H. Lapham (b. 1935)
