Elstree

Elstree (/ˈɛlztri/) is a village in the Hertsmere borough of Hertfordshire, England, on the former A5 road, which followed the course of Watling Street, about 13 miles north of London. In 2001, its population was 4,765. It forms part of the civil parish of Elstree and Borehamwood, originally known simply as Elstree.
