The EDSAC Replica Project
On the 13 January 2011, the Computer Conservation Society announced that it had commissioned a working replica of EDSAC, to be built at The National Museum of Computing (TNMoC) in Bletchley Park. The target is to have the replica operational by 2015 and, in common with most major exhibits at TNMoC, to run it regularly in public.
The project is managed by Andrew Herbert who studied under Maurice Wilkes.

Famous quotes containing the word project:
“They had their fortunes to make, everything to gain and nothing to lose. They were schooled in and anxious for debates; forcible in argument; reckless and brilliant. For them it was but a short and natural step from swaying juries in courtroom battles over the ownership of land to swaying constituents in contests for office. For the lawyer, oratory was the escalator that could lift a political candidate to higher ground.”
—Federal Writers Project Of The Wor, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
