Safety & Security
The DAA has its own branch of the Airport Police Service which is mandated to provide aviation / general policing at the airport. The Airport Police Station is centrally located on the Arrivals road between Terminal 1 & 2. The airport also features its own Airport Fire & Rescue Service which provide cover to the entire campus its roadways & lands. The fire service respond to all aircraft incidents, domestic fires, medical emergencies & road traffic collisions.
The Office of the Revenue Commissioners provide a customs service to both passenger & cargo terminals, while the Department Of Agriculture also has a presence in the airport. Garda Síochána (GNIB) has a responsibility to provide an Immigration service to all arriving passengers into the airport. The Gardai also has a small sub-station located beside the old terminal.
