Famous quotes containing the words theatre, bergman and/or magic:

... in the happy laughter of a theatre audience one can get the most immediate and numerically impressive guarantee that there is nothing in one’s mind which is not familiar to the mass of persons living at the time.
    Rebecca West (1892–1983)

Begin thinking of death and you are no longer sure of your life. It’s a Hebrew proverb.
Leo V. Gordon, U.S. screenwriter, and Arthur Hiller. Major Bergman (George Peppard)

    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
