Description
Until 2005, the road's pavement was considered to be in dangerously poor shape, but has since been completely rehabilitated and repaved by the City of Windsor, and is now in excellent shape. The road has relatively average traffic levels, and its newly-built interchange with 6th Concession Road helps to serve the neighbourhoods of South Windsor and Southwood Lakes.
In 2008 and 2009, the road's interchange with Highway 401 was completely rebuilt, removing a one-lane 1950s-era tunnel, replacing it with a modern two-lane overpass.
