On May 4, 2002, Warner Bros. released the 45th Anniversary version of Doctor Zhivago on DVD (two disc set) and on Blu-ray (a three-disc set that includes a book). The two-disc set consists of a double-sided DVD for the main film (whereas the DVD has to be flipped for part 2 of the film), and a one-sided DVD for the extras.
