Famous quotes containing the word health:

Self-esteem is as important to our well-being as legs are to a table. It is essential for physical and mental health and for happiness.
    Louise Hart (20th century)

My hand is as rich as theirs, maybe for the first time. I am no longer just a child.
—Anonymous Father. Ourselves and Our Children, by Boston Women’s Health Book Collective, ch. 5 (1978)

Every violation of truth is not only a sort of suicide in the liar, but is a stab at the health of human society.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
