Commercial History
Distribution was via label deals with Parlophone Records, for acts such as K-Klass and Bassheads, and RCA Records for everybody else. It was acquired by BMG in 1993 and its operations reduced in 1998, with M People gaining their own M People Records label for the release of their Fresco album. Sony then acquired BMG in 2001, leading to the closure of both Deconstruction and Concrete.

Famous quotes containing the words commercial and/or history:
“So by all means lets have a television show quick and long, even if the commercial has to be delivered by a man in a white coat with a stethoscope hanging around his neck, selling ergot pills. After all the public is entitled to what it wants, isnt it? The Romans knew that and even they lasted four hundred years after they started to putrefy.”
—Raymond Chandler (18881959)
“It is my conviction that women are the natural orators of the race.”
—Eliza Archard Connor, U.S. suffragist. As quoted in History of Woman Suffrage, vol. 4, ch. 9, by Susan B. Anthony and Ida Husted Harper (1902)
