The Marcos survived until World War II. Dayton did not have a baseball team again until 2000 when the Dayton Dragons formed. (not true. Dayton had a minor league teams until the early 50's. check out http://www.daytontriangles.com/9baseballstory.html for a good article on the history of baseball in Dayton)
