David Wrench

David Wrench (born 3 January 1978) is a Rugby League footballer who plays for Halifax RLFC. He signed for Halifax originally in the 2006 season on loan from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats but after a successful loan period his move was made permanent in Autumn 2006. Wrench can operate at both Prop and Second-row. He has had previous experiences with Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. A lot of people give him the nickname of "Tramp" because of his messy hair style.

Famous quotes containing the words david and/or wrench:

All sailors pause to watch a steamer, and shout in welcome or derision. In one a large Newfoundland dog put his paws on the rail and stood up as high as any of them, and looked as wise. But the skipper, who did not wish to be seen no better employed than a dog, rapped him on the nose and sent him below. Such is human justice!
    —Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

That is what we must make people feel... the catch in the throat, the wrench to steady the nerves, the determination to carry on.
    John Dos Passos (1896–1970)
