David E. Kelley - Personal Life

Personal Life

Kelley married actress Michelle Pfeiffer in November 1993. They have two children: a daughter, Claudia Rose (born February 1993), and a son, John Henry (born August 1994). Kelley is known for leaving work in time to be home in the evenings and weekends. Although he is sometimes assumed to be a Catholic because his programs address Catholic issues, Kelley was raised a Protestant.

Famous quotes containing the words personal and/or life:

The terrible thing is that one cannot be a Communist and not let oneself in for the shameful act of recantation. One cannot be a Communist and preserve an iota of one’s personal integrity.
    Milovan Djilas (b. 1911)

It is conceivable at least that a late generation, such as we presumably are, has particular need of the sketch, in order not to be strangled to death by inherited conceptions which preclude new births.... The sketch has direction, but no ending; the sketch as reflection of a view of life that is no longer conclusive, or is not yet conclusive.
    Max Frisch (1911–1991)
