David A. Huffman
David Albert Huffman (August 9, 1925 – October 7, 1999) was a pioneer in computer science, known for his Huffman coding. He was also one of the pioneers in the field of mathematical origami. David Huffman died at the age of 74 after a 10-month battle with cancer.
