Biography
Lockyer was born in Brisbane. As a child, Lockyer played Australian rules football in Brisbane before his parents moved west to Wandoan, Queensland for 4 years then the family moved to Roma. He started his senior rugby league football career in Roma, playing for the Cities Gladiators.
