Cynortas

Cynortas

In Greek mythology, Cynortas or Cynortes (Κυνόρτας) was a king of Sparta. He was a son of Amyclas and Diomede, brother of Argalus and Hyacinthus and the father of Oebalus or of Perieres. His tomb was shown near Scias at Sparta.
