Wither Hills Wine Controversy

In 2006, Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2006 was stripped of its five-star rating by Cuisine after scientific tests by Institute of Environmental Science and Research revealed that the wine submitted for review was not the same as that available in shops. Famous quotes containing the words wither, hills, wine and/or controversy:

    Lovely enchanting language, sugar-cane,
Honey of roses, wither wilt thou fly?
    George Herbert (1593–1633)

As long as green hills are there, never fear a shortage of firewood.
    Chinese proverb.

Our national experience in Americanizing millions of Europeans whose chief wish was to become Americans has been a heady wine which has made us believe, as perhaps no nation before us has ever believed, that, given the slimmest chance, all peoples will pattern themselves upon our model.
    Ruth Benedict (1887–1948)

And therefore, as when there is a controversy in an account, the parties must by their own accord, set up for right Reason, the Reason of some Arbitrator, or Judge, to whose sentence, they will both stand, or their controversy must either come to blows, or be undecided, for want of a right Reason constituted by Nature; so is it also in all debates of what kind soever.
    Thomas Hobbes (1579–1688)
