Education
Situated on Havering Road, Parklands School (both primary and junior) has been open for over half a century. In 1995 the school was given "Beacon Status" due to the high standards of education provided. The school is one of the largest primary schools in the area. The school has a quad area which is home to many animals, in the past the quad has been home to lambs, chickens, guinea pigs, and rabbits. Other primary schools in the area include Crownfields, Pinewoods and Clockhouse.
