In the United States, Coca-Cola primarily uses high-fructose corn syrup as a sweetener. Coca-Cola made with cane sugar (sucrose) is available in certain markets in 2-liter bottles in the weeks leading up to Passover and is available in most markets year round in 12-ounce glass bottles imported from Mexico.

Famous quotes containing the words united states, formula, variations, united and/or states:

Madam, I may be President of the United States, but my private life is nobody’s damn business.
    Chester A. Arthur (1829–1886)

I take it that what all men are really after is some form or perhaps only some formula of peace.
    Joseph Conrad (1857–1924)

I may be able to spot arrowheads on the desert but a refrigerator is a jungle in which I am easily lost. My wife, however, will unerringly point out that the cheese or the leftover roast is hiding right in front of my eyes. Hundreds of such experiences convince me that men and women often inhabit quite different visual worlds. These are differences which cannot be attributed to variations in visual acuity. Man and women simply have learned to use their eyes in very different ways.
    Edward T. Hall (b. 1914)

    Steal away and stay away.
Don’t join too many gangs. Join few if any.
Join the United States and join the family
But not much in between unless a college.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)

It may be said that the elegant Swann’s simplicity was but another, more refined form of vanity and that, like other Israelites, my parents’ old friend could present, one by one, the succession of states through which had passed his race, from the most naive snobbishness to the worst coarseness to the finest politeness.
    Marcel Proust (1871–1922)
