Famous quotes containing the word limbs:
“Find meat on bones that soon have none,
And drink in the two milked crags,
The merriest marrow and the dregs
Before the ladies breasts are hags
And the limbs are torn....”
—Dylan Thomas (19141953)
“But the hobbledehoy, though he blushes when women address him, and is uneasy even when he is near them, though he is not master of his limbs in a ball-room, and is hardly master of his tongue at any time, is the most eloquent of beings, and especially eloquent among beautiful women.”
—Anthony Trollope (18151882)
“Weary with toil, I haste me to my bed,
The dear repose for limbs with travel tired;
But then begins a journey in my head
To work my mind, when bodys works expired:”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
