Chuck Barris
Charles Hirsch "Chuck" Barris (born June 3, 1929) is an American game show creator, producer, and host best known for emceeing The Gong Show and creating The Dating Game. Additionally, Barris is a songwriter (Freddy Cannon's 1962 #3 hit single "Palisades Park"; and an author.
