Chicago Sky

The Chicago Sky is a professional basketball team based in Rosemont, Illinois, playing in the Eastern Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded before the 2006 WNBA season began. The team is owned by Michael J. Alter (principal owner) and Margaret Stender (minority owner). Like some other WNBA teams, the Sky has the distinction of not being affiliated with an NBA counterpart, although an NBA team, the Chicago Bulls, also plays in the same city.

The Sky has yet to make the WNBA Playoffs.
