  • On February 2, 1998, Cebu Pacific Flight 387, a DC-9-32 travelling from Manila to Cagayan de Oro, crashed on the slopes of Mount Sumagaya in Misamis Oriental, killing all 104 people on board.
  • On April 10, 2012, a Cebu Pacific flight 5J 640 plane nicked a Zest Air plane on the tarmac of Puerto Princesa Airport in Palawan province. The Zest Air plane was loading passengers when a nearby Cebu Pacific sideswiped its wings, breaking Zest Air’s guide lights.
