Famous quotes containing the words castle and/or cornet:

    The splendor falls on castle walls
    And snowy summits old in story;
    The long light shakes across the lakes,
    And the wild cataract leaps in glory.
    Blow, bugle, blow, set the wild echoes flying,
    Blow, bugle; answer, echoes, dying, dying, dying.
    Alfred Tennyson (1809–1892)

    I never saw youe madam laye aparte
    Your cornet black, in colde nor yet in heate,
    Sythe first ye knew of my desire so greate,
    Which other fances chac’d cleane from my harte.
    Henry Howard, Earl Of Surrey (1517?–1547)
