Canadian Forces Reserve Force
The Canadian Forces have a total reserve force of approximately 50,000 primary and supplementary that can be called upon in times of national emergency or threat. For the components and sub-components of the Canadian Forces Reserve Force, the order of precedence follows:
- (1) Primary Reserve,
- (2) Supplementary Reserve
- (a) Supplementary Ready Reserve, and
- (b) Supplementary Holding Reserve,
- (3) Cadet Organizations Administration and Training Service, and
- (4) Canadian Rangers.
