Canadian Forces Military Police - Commander and Rank Structure

Commander and Rank Structure

The Commander of the Canadian Forces Military Police Group is the Canadian Forces Provost Marshal (CFPM), currently Colonel T.D. Grubb, CD, who was appointed in June 2009. The CFPM reports directly to the VCDS of the CF for all policing and security related matters.

The CFMP is a trade within the CF, it follows the same rank structure as the rest of the CF. As with any other trade, there are Officers and Non-Commissioned Members (NCM). Upon recruitment and successful completion of training, NCM's start off at the rank of Corporal.
