Bruce Arthur Johnston (born Benjamin Baldwin on June 27, 1942) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known as a member of The Beach Boys, joining the band in 1965 and contributing to many of their subsequent albums, and for composing the song, "I Write the Songs".
