Critical Reception

Eastwood has cited Bronco Billy as being one of the most affable shoots of his career, and biographer Richard Schickel has argued that the character of Bronco Billy is his most self-referential work. Famous quotes containing the words critical and/or reception:

Somewhere it is written that parents who are critical of other people’s children and publicly admit they can do better are asking for it.
    Erma Bombeck (20th century)

But in the reception of metaphysical formula, all depends, as regards their actual and ulterior result, on the pre-existent qualities of that soil of human nature into which they fall—the company they find already present there, on their admission into the house of thought.
    Walter Pater (1839–1894)
