Famous quotes containing the words broad and/or peak:

    Heavily hangs the broad sunflower
    Over its grave i’ the earth so chilly;
    Heavily hangs the hollyhock,
    Heavily hangs the tiger-lily.
    Alfred Tennyson (1809–1892)

    Sleep shall neither night nor day
    Hang upon his penthouse lid;
    He shall live a man forbid;
    Weary sev’n-nights, nine times nine,
    Shall he dwindle, peak and pine;
    Though his bark cannot be lost,
    Yet it shall be tempest-tossed.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
