The Thailand Breast Slap is a non-surgical method of breast augmentation endorsed by the Thai government as an alternative to surgical breast augmentation with breast implants. The Thailand Breast Slap was proposed by beautician Khemmikka Na Sonkhla, who reported that her grandmother used the technique to augment her own bust; proponents also claim it reduces the risk of breast cancer. The Thai government have enrolled more than 20 women in publicly-funded courses for the teaching of the Thailand Breast Slap technique for breast augmentation; nonetheless, beyond Thailand, the technique is not endorsed by the mainstream medical community. Yet, despite the promising results of a six-month study of the therapeutic effectiveness of the Thai Breast Slap, the research physician recommended to the participant women that they also contribute to augmenting their busts by gaining weight.

Famous quotes containing the words breast and/or slap:
“So if hunger provokes wailing and wailing brings the breast; if the breast permits sucking and milk suggests its swallow; if swallowing issues in sleep and stomachy comfort, then need, ache, message, object, act, and satisfaction are soon associated like charms on a chain; shortly our wants begin to envision the things which well reduce them, and the organism is finally said to wish.”
—William Gass (b. 1924)
“No one to slap his head.”
