Black Disciples - Recent History

Recent History

They have poor relations with other Folk Nation Gangs. Since they follow the original doctrine of David Barksdale they consider themselves the only true Disciples, as all other gangs have created their own literature and strayed from the original teachings. Love, Life, Loyalty, Wisdom, Knowledge and understanding is the Blue print for the Black Disciple organization. The majority of the present conflicts they have with other gangs involves drugs and teritory as they are known to be more attracted to the money making aspect as oppossed to just banging.

While King Vel is technically a Black Disciple leader, he is not recognized by the traditional Folks alliance "older Black Disciples" they don't consider him as a leader at all and don't welcome him in any traditional BD strongholds or circles because of his betrayal of Jerome Freeman. Due to Jerome Freeman's retirement and sudden death "TERRANCE (Lil Terry) BROOKS" a well known money maker from the englewood faction who committed three murders while out on a $32,000 bond for a previous homocide (currently serving life in Menard state penetentiary) is now looked upon as being the Traditional Black Disciples King.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

What you don’t understand is that it is possible to be an atheist, it is possible not to know if God exists or why He should, and yet to believe that man does not live in a state of nature but in history, and that history as we know it now began with Christ, it was founded by Him on the Gospels.
    Boris Pasternak (1890–1960)

A man acquainted with history may, in some respect, be said to have lived from the beginning of the world, and to have been making continual additions to his stock of knowledge in every century.
    David Hume (1711–1776)
