Conservation Status
The lion and African bush elephant are classified as Endangered. The leopard and white rhinoceros are classified as Vulnerable and near threatened. The black rhinoceros is classified as critically endangered so cannot be hunted and so is not available at all. The African buffalo is the most popular Big Five game animal to hunt, as its conservation status is least concern.
