Bhabhar

Bhabhar (Hindi and Nepali: भाबर, bhābar) is the region south of the Lower Himalayas and the Siwalik Hills It is the alluvial apron of sediments washed down from the Siwaliks along the northern edge of the Indo-Gangetic Plain.
