Benjamin Orr (September 8, 1947 – October 3, 2000) was an American rock musician best known as the bassist and vocalist for the Boston-based rock band, The Cars.
He sang several of their best known hits, including "Just What I Needed", "Let's Go", and "Drive" as well as "Candy-O" and "Moving In Stereo". He also scored a moderate solo hit with "Stay the Night."
