- In 1906 a portrait of Benjamin Chew was dedicated, honoring his role as Chief Justice, and installed in the Pennsylvania State Capitol building.
- Chew Avenue in Philadelphia was named in his honor.
- 1942, the Liberty ship, the Benjamin Chew, built and named in his honor. It was built at the Bethlehem-Fairfield Shipyards in Baltimore, Maryland.
