Admission
The College is affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences since 2003. Before that it awarded degrees from the Calcutta University.
It has 100 MBBS seats and postgraduate degree seats.
Admission to this college is by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and the All India Pre Medical Test. 15% of total seats are for the CBSE PMT students.
Recently it has been decided that the number of seats will be 200, but from which session the decision will be implemented is not yet clear.
