Baladi (Arabic: بلدي / ALA-LC: baladī; nisba-adjective meaning "native", "indigenous", "of the country", "rural", comparable to English "folk", with a lower-class connotation) is a rhythmic style common in Middle Eastern music, and the associated traditional dance raqs baladi.
