Atif Aslam (Urdu: عاطف اسلم; born in Wazirabad, Gujranwala District, Punjab, Pakistan as Muhammad Atif Aslam) is a Pakistani pop singer and film actor. His debut as an actor was in the 2011 film Pakistani movie Bol. He has generated numerous chart-topping songs, and is known for his vocal belting technique. Atif is a recipient of the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan's highest civilian decorations. He was also awarded with the BrandLaureate International Brand Personality Award in Malaysia for his positive contributions towards society.
