Missing SAT Exams
On June 10, 2004, officials of the Ardsley school district notified police that 123 SAT answer booklets were stolen while awaiting shipment to the College Board for scoring. Ardsley High School had served as a testing location for the June 5, 2004, exam. On the morning of June 11, 2004, a man whose identity was never disclosed called the school to inform them that he had mistakenly taken the package. The answer booklets were returned, the package was reported to be completely intact, and therefore the tests were still eligible to be scored.

Famous quotes containing the words missing, sat and/or exams:
“Teenage girls are extremists who see the world in black-and- white terms, missing shades of gray. Life is either marvelous or not worth living. School is either pure torment or is going fantastically. Other people are either great or horrible, and they themselves are wonderful or pathetic failures. One day a girl will refer to herself as the goddess of social life and the next day shell regret that shes the ultimate in nerdosity.”
—Mary Pipher (20th century)
“We [actors] are indeed a strange lot! There are times we doubt that we have any emotions we can honestly call our own. I have approached every dynamic scene change in my life the same way. When I married Charlie MacArthur, I sat down and wondered how I could play the best wife that ever was.... My love for him was the truest thing in my life; but it was still important that I love him with proper effect, that I act loving him with great style, that I achieve the ultimate in wifedom.”
—Helen Hayes (19001993)
“I know that if Id had to go and take an exam for acting, I wouldnt have got anywhere. You dont take exams for acting, you take your courage.”
—Dame Edith Evans (18881976)
