Architrave

An architrave ( /ˈɑrkɨtreɪv/; from Italian: architrave, also called an epistyle; from Greek επίστυλο, epistylo or door frame) is the lintel or beam that rests on the capitals of the columns. It is an architectural element in Classical architecture.
