Famous quotes containing the words jewish and/or tradition:

A Jewish man with parents alive is a fifteen-year-old boy, and will remain a fifteen-year-old boy till they die.
    Philip Roth (20th century)

Almost always tradition is nothing but a record and a machine-made imitation of the habits that our ancestors created. Walter Lippmann (1889–1974)
