Amphibole

Amphibole ( /ˈæmfɨboʊl/) is the name of an important group of generally dark-colored rock-forming inosilicate minerals, composed of double chain SiO₄ tetrahedra, linked at the vertices and generally containing ions of iron and/or magnesium in their structures.
