Backwards Song (Verse 2)
The group Wee Sing released an alphabet song with the letters in reverse order. It is called ZYXs. It goes as follows:
- Z-Y-X-W-V-and-U--
- T-and-S-and-R-and-Q--
- P-O-N-M-L-K-J--,
- I-H-G-F-EDCBA-- (EDCBA said like LMNOP in alphabet song)
- Now I know my CBAs
- Next time won't you lead the way
Another version ends with "Now I know my ZYXs, let's all go and walk to Texas."
The Canadian children's TV series The Big Comfy Couch used a version of the song in the episode "Backwards".
Comedian Soupy Sales released a song in 1966 called "Backwards Alphabet" which contained the reverse alphabet in lyrical style.
In the opening scene of the 1992 episode of Martin, Martin sangs the song in the dark radio station in season 1's "Dead Men Don't Flush".

Famous quotes containing the word song:
“Christianity only hopes. It has hung its harp on the willows, and cannot sing a song in a strange land. It has dreamed a sad dream, and does not yet welcome the morning with joy. The mother tells her falsehoods to her child, but, thank heaven, the child does not grow up in its parents shadow. Our mothers faith has not grown with her experience. Her experience has been too much for her. The lesson of life was too hard for her to learn.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
