Alitalia-Linee Aeree Italiane - Head Office

Head Office

Alitalia's head office was located in Rome. The airline's last head office was on Viale Alessandro Marchetti. In 1992 Agis Salpukas of The New York Times described the then-new headquarters building as "sleek." Originally the airline had its head office at Via Maresciallo Pilsudski. In 1967 Alitalia moved its head office to a newly constructed building in the Esposizione Universale Roma (EUR) in Rome. That head office, the Palazzo Alitalia, was in Piazzale Giulio Pastore.

Famous quotes containing the words head and/or office:

Now listen, buddy, there are a few corny ideas you got to get out of your head if you’re going to fly an airplane. Most things are just the reverse from what people think. The higher you are the safer you are. The Earth down there, that, that’s your enemy because once you hit that, boy, you splatter.
    Dalton Trumbo (1905–1976)

“Jennie June” Croly 1829–1901, U.S. founder of the woman’s club movement, journalist, author, editor. Demorest’s Illustrated Monthly and Mirror of Fashions, pp. 24-5 (January 1870)
