Ali participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 4 in India. During the first week, Ali became the captain of the house after the former captain was disqualified. In one of the episodes it was predicted by astrologer Bejan Daruwala that Ali would be among the finalists to win the Bigg Boss 4 title, however he was evicted in the third week.
