Athletics
Alfred State College teams participate as a member of Region III of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The Pioneers are a member of the Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC). Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, lacrosse, soccer, swimming & diving, track & field and wrestling; while women's sports include basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field and volleyball.
In the 2012-13 season, Alfred State will begin the process of becoming a NCAA Division III institution.
