The Aldwych Group is the group of students' unions of the members of the Russell Group of Universities in the United Kingdom. It was established in 1994, by Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis (who was General Secretary of LSE Union in 1994/5) as a watchdog in response to the creation of the Russell Group.
It is so called because its was established at a meeting at the London School of Economics and Political Science, which is located on Aldwych.
The current Chair is Laura Perry of Newcastle University Students' Union, who was elected in July 2012.
