Akhisar

Akhisar (pronounced: ah-kee-sahr, or more formally, ahk-hee-sahr, Ottoman Turkish: اقحصار) is a county district and its town center in Manisa Province in the Aegean region of Western Turkey. Akhisar is also the ancient city of Thyatira or Thyateira.
