Famous quotes containing the words air, training and/or command:

    O, when mine eyes did see Olivia first,
    Methought she purged the air of pestilence;
    That instant was I turned into a hart,
    And my desires, like fell and cruel hounds,
    E’er since pursue me.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

    When a man goes through six years’ training to be a doctor he will never be the same. He knows too much.

    Under bare Ben Bulben’s head
    In Drumcliff churchyard Yeats is laid.
    An ancestor was rector there
    Long years ago, a church stands near,
    By the road an ancient cross.
    No marble, no conventional phrase;
    On limestone quarried near the spot
    By his command these words are cut:
    Cast a cold eye
    On life, on death.
    Horseman pass by!
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
