Stadium
AIK play their home games at Råsunda Stadium, Sweden's national football stadium. Råsunda Stadium also houses the Swedish FA, Svenska fotbollförbundet, and notably hosted the final of the World Cup 1958.
In 2012, Sweden's new national football stadium, Friends Arena, will be completed in Solna, and after the 2012 season Råsunda is to be demolished. In 20 October 2011, AIK called in their members to an election between Friends Arena and Tele2 Arena. A big majority voted for Friends Arena, with the result of AIK playing their homegames att the arena after the last year at Råsunda in 2012.
