Ahvaz

Ahwaz (Persian: اهواز‎, also Romanized as Ahwāz) (Arabic: الأحْوَاز, also Romanized as al-'Aḥwāz) is a city in and the capital of Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,425,891, in 212,097 families.
